Saints or Skeptics is the second in The Friends of the Cape Cod Theater Coalition’s new series StageStruck: Behind the Scenes of Cape Cod’s Live Theaters. StageStruck is for both theatergoers and theater community. This new series will take place at different theaters around the Cape, and will explore the fascinating elements that come together to create live theater.
StageStruck will feature theater experts and enthusiasts from both on and off Cape, and focus on many topics which will help enhance theater-goers enjoyment of what they see on stage.
Friends of CCTC are planning a wide variety of topics for the StageStruck Series. Programs will include: a media panel of theater reviewers; the artistic director of a New York City company devoted to actors and writers with disabilities; the role of the musical director; and the unique demands of children’s theater.
For additional information about the StageStruck Series please visit CCTC and Friends of CCTC at: www.capecodlive.org, www.facebook.com/capecodtheatrecoalition, or contact us at info@capecodlive.org.
Mission:
The Cape Cod Theater Coalition works to strengthen the performing arts venues, organizations, audiences and individual artists of the region, and through the collaboration of our member theaters we endeavor to ensure the continued cultural richness of Cape Cod by providing opportunities for information and resource sharing, promotion of live performance, education and outreach, collegiality and cooperation for the benefit of the performing arts community, our audiences and supporters.
History:
Founded in 1995 by 5 theaters through the initiative and leadership of the Cape Cod 5 Bank and support from the Cape Cod 5 Foundation, the Cape Cod Theater Coalition has flourished and now grown to 17 member theaters and producing organizations from Woods Hole to Provincetown. With the Foundation’s continued financial assistance and the Bank’s support, the Theater Coalition is an outstanding example of the benefits all involved realize when organizations work together.
Thank You
